Another Successful Southern Farm Show!

Our SITECH Mid-Atlantic team had a great time at the Southern Farm Show this past week in Raleigh.  The NC State Fairgrounds always has a great show full of wonderful exhibits and vendors.  We made some new friends, met some cool new customers and had fun with our drone!

Cold Weather Calibration Time

It’s January, its the start of the New Year and it’s COLD.  Sounds like a good time to bring your laser in for calibration and service, doesn’t it?

Depending on the type of work you do and how often your laser is used, it may stay in correct calibration for long periods of time.  However, the calibration can be off it has been used in extreme temperature swings, been exposed to water or condensation or has been jilted or dropped.  Many companies find that their “slow season” brought on by cold or wet weather is good time to bring lasers in for service.  The SITECH MA rental department can even set you up with a service rental if you need one while yours is in the shop.  Our service team can also check your receivers and accessories and set you up with new items as needed.

With every new laser purchase and after each subsequent calibration, the SITECH MA service team will send a yellow card reminding you that it’s time for your yearly calibration.  Most clean and calibration service tickets cost less than $150.00 and are completed within a few days.  Our team can service all brands and types of lasers including rotating and pipe models. Give us a call at 1-800-443-7561 to learn about our service department and find your perfect drop-off spot!

“Talking Trash” with SVSWMA

The SITECH MA team recently joined our Southwestern Virginia customers for a conference held in Pigeon Forge.  The Southwestern Virginia Waste Management Association celebrated 35 years of professional development with a 3-day event in the beautiful Smokey Mountains of Tennessee.

Travis Waller of SITECH, Shaun MacIntosh of Propeller Aero and Bob Hendrick of SITECH represented the SITECH booth for the event.

Travis Waller, GPS Specialist, describes the use of Business Center to a Virginia customer.

Presentations and classroom education were an essential component of the conference for accreditation.

The drone demonstration by Propeller Aero was exciting for all participants.

Shaun MacIntosh launches the flight and describes the uses of drones in landfill and compaction work.
